WINE AND CHOCOLATE PAIRING WITH POD CHOCOLATE

Bali Choklat began in 2010 with two simple questions; how is the cacao pod transformed into chocolate and why isn’t it made where it’s grown?
Toby Garritt set out to answer these questions in a quest to understand the alchemy of chocolate making while creating an ethical and sustainable business that supports local communities while creating the most amazing and delicious chocolate possible.
Bali Choklat opened it’s first chocolate factory in January 2013 and the rest is history in the making.

In 2019, Pod Chocolate successfully have 4 places in total. 2 in Petang, Pod factory in Mengwi, and the latest Pod Studio in Sanur that established last year 2018.

There are total of 8 POD series:

And in total of 33 variants.

We are pairing with 3 different series and wine variants.
Our red wine, cabernet merlot with dark chocolate variants. Rosè with milk chocolate base, and Frizzante Moscato with creamy white chocolate.

Starting with our first recommendation to pair Cabernet Merlot with fruity, salty, spicy dark chocolate base. Their best seller dark chocolate, Bali chili, even rujak mangga also goes well with our Cabernet Merlot, perfect suits for Fine Dinning or date night moment to just chilling and having conversation with your lover

Next, try to pair milk chocolate base such as coconut, honeycomb, cranberry and salted peanut with our Rosè, sweet and dry taste perfect to suits your garden party, little gathering and Movie night.

Last but not least, the creamy base with our Moscato Frizzante, creamy base is their latest edition or “the baby” in selection, variants such as strawberry, green tea, cookies and cream are the perfect pairs to fits family picnic moment, girl’s night out, or even enjoying alone just after long day. When you need something sweet & refreshing at the same time.
